JOURNAL OF SHARIAH LAW RESEARCH is with the objective to disseminate and advance research findings in the field of Shariah law with particular emphasis on the ideas of reform which are relevant to the contemporary development in various fields of Islamic law. The journal is published bi-annually by Department of Shariah and Law, Academy of Islamic Studies both on-line and printed versions beginning on January 2016. This issue has been available online for five (5) accepted papers. All articles in this issue were authored by 11 authors from four (4) countries i.e.: Malaysia, Nigeria, Indonesia, and Uganda.
